This first-time customer brought some unique ideas to the drawing board. We pride ourselves on providing customizable designs for all of our prefabricated steel buildings.
Our team travelled to Nanaimo, BC, The Harbour City, to install this private home shop. While getting to the island was easy enough, just a ferry ride across the Pacific Ocean, working on the site had its challenges. When building on residential land, parking can be limited and material transportation tricky, so we offloaded the steel on a residential road and hauled it to the site. There is no problem that our MSC team can't face!
We built this private shop with a 4:12 roof pitch in all black, which is unique! We also designed two-foot overhangs with soffit on the sides - a custom add-on for metal buildings - and installed the standard six-inch R-20 insulation in the roof and walls.
