Valley Pool and Spa

When a long-time friend called on Metal Structure Concepts to help with a new building for Valley Pool and Spa in Kelowna, MSC knew that it would be a bit of a challenge. First, it had to be beautiful - after all, pools and spas are beautiful. But the actual build site was the biggest challenge.

MSC surveyed the restrictive grounds to fully understand the limitations and confinement. The drawing board was visited repeatedly to come up with the perfect metal building that would serve Valley Pool and Spa well. With design done, the MSC build crew then had to strategically build it; the new metal building was situated tightly between other businesses.

Looking at the building today, you might (not) notice that all four sides have parapets - a barrier that is an extension of the wall at the edge of the roof. This unique design attribute makes it appear that the building has a flat roof, but serves a greater purpose of preventing snow from sliding off.

In the end, this friendship turned business relationship was a success. Gene Brown of Valley Pool and Spa states “The team at MSC worked tirelessly with me and our project manager to ensure the completed building met our expectations.” Let’s put this project in the books as another successful, beautiful metal building that we are proud to have built.
