Located outside of Armstrong, BC, Purple Springs Reforestation Inc. is dedicated to keeping our forests full of Coastal and Interior Douglas Fir, as well as all other commercial 1 year old conifer seedlings. It was our pleasure to keep this local business growing — not only their facility, but the number of seedlings they can plant.
It's not always fun and games working in Canadian winters, but our crews battled it out through this winter erecting this custom steel building with special features like:
- Custom door canopies
- Interior demising wall
- Custom girt spacing and column bracing to make interior finishing for the offices easier and cleaner
- Snow stops
- Additional lean-to complete with soffitt and custom bird shields
Prefabricated steel buildings are the perfect addition to any agricultural application because of their ability to have open clearspan space — that means having no interior columns through the interior of the building. There is opportunity to easily expand in the future as a business grows because the speed of construction is quickest with pre-engineered steel buildings. Lastly, the durability of the steel buildings for low maintenance and longevity is unmatched.
