We were able to be a part of a Hallmark moment come to life! The community of Barriere, BC was in need of a new agriplex for their events and get-togethers. Folks rallied together and threw all of their money into a fund to build an updated and reliable agriplex. MSC was contacted by the town to pitch their community venture. Our team was thrilled with the idea of helping this community with its ability to tell stories with one another, share successes and sell their local products, and have agricultural events to provide a healthy economy. Steve, owner of Metal Structure Concepts, went to Barriere and sat down with community members, local businesses, and lumber associations to start the consultation process for their new prefabricated steel building.

During the building process, we remained tightly-knit with the community to make sure that all of their requests were met. At the end of the project, we not only erected a nearly 30,000 sq. ft building but we made a new home within Barriere and its community members. There was no question to help them out 10 years later when the building needed some maintenance. While maintaining any steel building can be done yourself, at MSC our services don’t stop after the last screw is screwed into place. We got back into our trucks and headed north to help our new community to get their prefabricated steel building looking like new again! The community of Barriere couldn’t be happier with their agriplex and that fills our hearts with gratitude.
