MSC provided Tom Salmond, owner of Tri-S Concrete, with a complete design-and-erect service of his 10,350 sq ft shop space – exactly as he had imaged it.
The Tri-S project features two steel buildings, both with a single-slope design, including office space. The standing seam roofs feature R-40 insulation, and the walls are rated at R-20, which will make working in the Tri-S metal shop building a lot more comfortable in both summer and winter. For added durability, the interior walls and ceiling are outfitted with bright white steel liner. For added safety (and insulation), they added 2HR Roxul Firewall on property line.
To accommodate larger trucks and other machinery, the shop has eight 16x18-foot overhead doors with electric openers, as well as a full-length drive-thru wash bay that’s completely sealed. Plus, Tri-S workers will be able to lift engines and other equipment with ease, thanks to a new 10-ton overhead crane.
