The latest and greatest project was a 4,320 sq/ft building in 2022, but we also sold him a 7,776 sq/ft building in 2019 and a 9,264 sq/ft building in 2017.
Through all these projects, MSC worked closely with John to design each customized steel building. Steve Ivanitz personally helped John with design ideas, reviewing how to make best Wood Co.’s dreams a reality. All buildings were designed to support internal cranes and hold an array of little details that prove that the smallest of design choices can have the biggest of impacts.
My name is John Drew. I am the president of Wood Co. Industries LTD. We’re a custom-cut sawmill located in Barrière, BC.
I got introduced to Steve Ivanitz of Metal Structure Concepts in 2017 when we got quoted on our first building, and since that time, we’ve put in three buildings, one in 2017, one in 2019, and one in 2022. So, we chose to work with Metal Structure Concepts because, mainly Steve and his good attitude towards customer service and competitive pricing. So, Metal Structure Concepts came to us, and they helped us with the design planning piece of the building and then obviously worked through getting quotes and estimates for the building. We looked after the insulation ourselves, but they were there all the time to help when we ran into problems or had any issues.
